Wastebusters is 100% community-owned and a not-for-profit social enterprise, created by locals more than 25 years ago to help build a more resourceful community. Shopping there helps keep good stuff in circulation, supports their wider work to reduce waste and means your holiday dollars are going straight back into doing good in the local community.
Pop in, explore and see what you can find.
Alongside its famous reuse shop, Wastebusters also collects and sorts real recycling. Local businesses can recycle with them, and visitors can drop off holiday recycling for a small fee. Accepted items include glass, plastic bottles and containers marked 1, 2 & 5, cans, paper/cardboard, and tetra-paks.
