Ground Up Brewing is a 1,200 L craft beer brewery based in Wānaka, combining a love of mountaineering, climbing, and quality craft beer. Built from the “ground up,” the brewery has produced more than 200 unique and experimental beers over the past ten years, showcasing the very best and most creative brews in their taproom.
With twenty-two taps on offer, including five Nitro taps, pouring our award winning “Alpine Start” Oatmeal Stout, “The Crux” Pilsner, alongside some other local favourites. There’s something for everyone, including house-made sodas for those non-beer drinkers.
Pop into the vibrant, funky taproom to enjoy a pint or a tasting paddle while watching the brewmasters at work. If you’d rather enjoy the beers from the comfort of your own home, fill a 1L rigger in the taproom or choose from a selection of cans to take away.
