Camp by the lakeside in a large grassy area with good shade from mountain beech trees. Walk around the lake, go fishing or swimming.
This campsite can be booked online and DOC rangers patrol camping areas and will check that fees have been paid.
Notes: No tap water in winter. Picnic shelter and boat ramp on site. No dogs permitted. Number of tent sites is 40.
