At Wanaka Physiotherapy, our greatest strength lies in our people. Both our clinical and administrative teams are dedicated to delivering exceptional, friendly, and professional physiotherapy services to our local community, as well as to the many national and international visitors who come to Wanaka.
Our clinicians bring a wealth of experience and advanced postgraduate qualifications, allowing them to focus on their individual areas of special interest and provide specialised, evidence-based care.
We are proud to be associated with High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ), with five of our physiotherapists contracted to provide services to New Zealand’s carded athletes. Our involvement also extends to Snow Sports New Zealand, with staff members having travelled as part of the New Zealand Winter Olympic Team across the last five Winter Olympics.
Our HPSNZ physiotherapists have also worked with New Zealand Netball (Under 21), the World Youth Olympics, the World University Games, and the Winter Youth Olympics.
Wanaka’s unique environment attracts both elite and recreational multi-sport athletes, and our team has extensive experience managing their performance and recovery, as well as the treatment of related injuries.
We are ACC Accredited and hold contracts for Physiotherapy, Hand Therapy, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Concussion Services.
