Ready to take your backcountry skiing to the next level? The Women’s 5-Day Glacier Touring Trip is the final event of Aspiring Guides’ inaugural Women’s Winter Series – a season-long programme of women-only trips, courses, and events designed to encourage, empower, and connect women in the mountains.
Running October 7–11, this five-day expedition helicopters a small group of intermediate to advanced women into the glaciers of Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park or the spectacular West Coast, where you’ll ski and splitboard amongst towering alpine peaks, led by an IFMGA-qualified female guide throughout.
What you’ll experience: Navigating breathtaking glaciated terrain with an expert guide Refining your mountain travel techniques in a high-alpine environment Deepening your understanding of decision-making in remote terrain Days of untracked runs followed by evenings based at an iconic alpine hut
Supported by The North Face and designed for women with prior touring experience who are ready to push into serious alpine terrain, this trip is about progression, adventure, and connection.
