Wastebusters Summer Fair 2026
Saturday 17 October | 9am–5pm | Wastebusters Wānaka
Summer’s on its way, and Wastebusters is kicking things off with a big day at Wasties.
The Wastebusters Summer Fair is a chance to get ready for long days, warm weather and making the most of Wānaka’s beautiful backyard, without buying new.
Wastebusters will be bringing out heaps of secondhand summer gear for the occasion, including:
Summer clothing
Adventure and watersport gear
Tramping and camping gear
Wetsuits
Summer accessories
Shoes
Kids’ gear
And plenty more
Head down for a rummage, hunt out some great secondhand finds and get sorted for whatever summer has in store. There’ll be good music playing, plenty to look through and all the usual Wasties goodness. Make a morning of it, bring some mates and see what you can find.
A few things to know before you go:
Traffic management will be in place on the day and the onsite car park will be closed, so visitors are encouraged to carpool, walk or bike where possible.
Entry will be via the pedestrian entrance. Just look for the yellow Wasties flag!
The reuse and recycling drop-off lane will also be closed for the day. Anyone with items to drop off is kindly asked to hold onto them until the following Monday.
