Kundalini Curious?

Kundalini Yoga is a practice that I have always held dear, as it was in these classes that I found the substance that I felt was missing from other classes and movement practices. It is an incredibly uplifting and liberating practice, that allows you to connect with and understand your own energy system – in a way that is real to YOU.

You can think of it as a science of your Self, a connection to deeper and more truthful aspects of you. Why take this journey? It simply enriches your life, and in turn, all those around you, through the beautiful and new ways you perceive and interact with the world.

In classes we use many yogic techniques – we chant Mantra (sound current), we hold Mudra (subtle energy hand holds), we use Drishti (focus), we activate Bandhas (yogic locks), we explore through Pranayama (breath control), as well as Asana (posture).

(Not sure about chanting? It’s okay if your voice is a whisper – this practice is for you, no one else. Plus, you might be surprised at how this aspect develops over time.)

Each of these elements are a doorway within themselves, to open you up to inner awareness, connectedness and sanctuary.

Through these practices you will learn to work with your energetic centres in order to increase vitality and alignment to the vast intelligence of our living universe.

Strengthening the physical, mental, emotional and energetic bodies, through dynamic and varied practice. – Come and try this beautiful practice of connection and transcendence for yourself.

Classes are 75-90 minutes long – Our classes include rest points for stillness and integration, a longer class time gives us adequate space for this powerful energetic work to settle more fully into our systems.

Where? Shala is a beautiful studio with small class sizes and premium yoga equipment. A place for movement, stillness and being.

Pricing – I have created Shala’s pricing structure to encourage regular practice. Single classes are $27, & with our trial ‘Try Tri’ Pass you can try 3 classes for $60. Once you’ve found classes you like, our 5 class pass makes each session $23.

Commitment pays off – on the mat, off the mat, and in your pocket.
